The Focus: Implementing General or Specific Notes & Adjustments in Real Time & On The Spot. Tools & Techniques you can apply to your Next Self Tape. 

The Goal: Excellence in the crafting of On Camera Auditions for either Live, Virtual Live or Self Tapes. You learn through trial & error & playback can be your guide. 

His Experience: James DuMont has been Self Taping for over 15 years & Booked over 1 Million $ of Work Directly from his Self Tapes. The Righteous Gemstones (4 Seasons), Dallas Buyers Club (3 Oscar Wins), American Horror Story (2 Seasons) ALL from 2 Self Tape. He has personally Coached over 15,000 Self Taped Audtions in the last 10 years of Coaching.

Material: Bring in Any 2-4 page TV or Film Audition scene of your choosing. Please bring a Hard Copy for your reader.

OR 

I will provide 3 Scenes from currently active TV shows to choose from. They include: Dead City (Walking Dead Spin Off). Apple Series: Smoke. Netflix series: Adolescence & the Apple Series “Smoke” & “Your Friends & Neighbors”. 

How it Works:

You prepare the material as you would a real audition, being as off book as humanly possible & ready to take notes or directions. 

We’ll do 2 On Camera takes w/ Notes & Adjustments in between takes.  Once everyone is done, if time permits we’ll watch playback to analyze your execution of said notes or adjustments to find areas to improve on & fine tune for future auditions. If we run out of time, On Camera Participants will be sent their takes in a link to view later.  Observers will take notes & can ask questions after we everyone works On Camera. You’ll learn Months of On Camera Tools & Techniques in just Hours.
